This template is intended to request all the necessary information from your supplier to successfully create a booking.

First, you will need the following information from your supplier:

  • Company name

  • Email address and phone number

  • Street name, house number, postal code, and city

You can request all this information at once from your supplier, and then in the dashboard, when creating your booking, you can check a checkbox to save the supplier's information for future use. You can do this for multiple suppliers. :)

"Dear [supplier/contact person],

To successfully ship to the Netherlands, I have some requirements that I need your help with. I need the following information:

  • HS code(s) of the all the different goods that are being shipped

  • Total amount of cartons

  • Measurements (cm x cm x cm) per export carton

  • Total gross weight of the whole shipment

  • CBM (cubic meter) of the whole shipment, so not per export carton

I also need the commercial invoice (not proforma) from you. The commercial invoice must contain the following information:

  • Invoice number and invoice date

  • Description of the goods, quantity, unit price & total worth in USD $

  • Your company name and address of the company

  • My company details:

Your company name

Street address + house number

Postal code

City

Can you please take care of this?

Also, if possible, I would prefer to have the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) as well so I can determine if my goods should be marked as dangerous goods or not.

Thank you in advance."

In the MSDS sheet, you can find in Article 14 whether it concerns normal goods or dangerous goods. The MSDS document is mandatory for Dangerous Goods shipments (batteries, liquids, magnets, etc.), so it is important that your supplier has this information and that you request it as well! If you are certain that your shipment is not classified as Dangerous Goods, then you don't need to request the MSDS.

Don't forget to have your supplier affix the LvB shipping labels to your shipping boxes if you have chosen LvB delivery when creating your booking!

Good luck! If you have any uncertainties, you can always send us a message via the chat on the dashboard or by emailing forwarding@boloo.co! πŸš€
