You have created a shipment with us and received a transport invoice that includes costs for an export license. In this article, I will explain why an export license is necessary and why we invoice it to you!

Every supplier in China from whom you purchase goods needs to have an export license. They require it to export products to, in this case, the Netherlands! If they don't have one, we need to acquire it on behalf of your supplier so that we can transport the shipment as quickly as possible.

The reason we invoice this cost to you is because you are responsible for finding a supplier with this license. The cost for this license is 45 euros because we need to invest time in obtaining it. However, you may be able to recover this amount from your supplier.

Therefore, it is advisable to always check with new suppliers if they possess an export license. They need to apply for a new export license for EACH shipment.πŸ™‚

PLEASE NOTE: Suppliers must apply for a new export license for EACH new shipment they make.
